Every now and then I fall in love, I can browse the shops for hours in an unsuccessful attempt to make a purchase, but niggling away in the back of your mind you know you’re just attempting to satisfy yourself with a much cheaper option – but it doesn’t work. Now I’ve made myself sound like a psychopathic shopper with BIG issues, and that might be the case, but I’m finally relieved of that feeling.
I bought my very first Diane Von Furstenberg dress. I stumbled across the Fleurette silk dress and its long pleated back, ruched front and batwing arms a few months ago, and it’s safe to say I fell in love. At £325 it left a bitter taste in my mouth until Matches popped it in the sale, you know the feeling. Nearly sold out I had to think fast and I don’t regret my decision in the slightest. I’m even more in love. I can safely say my DVF is tucked up in her gorgeous matches box ready to make a killer appearance. This dress is gorgeous and I feel a million dollars wearing it – can you put a price on that?
