Most girls fantasize about a certain dream handbag. From a crush on a Louis Vuitton to an obsession with Mulberry, my fantasy bag has been the Mulberry Daria Hobo bag in the medium size for the past two years. Unfortunately my only option was to purchase this kind of bag (retailing at £595 from Mulberry) from eBay. However, I could never bring myself to justify spending hundreds of pounds on a bag.

This all changed last week. I had seen the Mulberry Daria in Pheasant green reduced on the Mulberry website, only to be sold out. After a random shopping trip to House of Fraser, I locked eyes with the sold out bag and fell in love all over again. Consequently – I bought my first Mulberry Daria Hobo bag. Reduced from £595 it was now the princely sum of £417. Mad, quite possibly. The colour has been a huge hit and miss with myself, but slowly and surely I have learn’t to love it, and find the colour changes in different lights, from black to a vivid English racing green.

The feeling of owning a 100% real Mulberry is priceless. Walking down the street knowing how hard you have worked to finally own one is a huge reward. What some people will never understand, is that maybe this is not just a bag, for me, it represents a small achievement.
