Meet my little Rockie, my must-have Alexander Wang handbag that goes with me nearly everywhere. I’ve loved this bag for a few years now and a year ago made a friend for life; I ordered my black Rockie bag with smooth pebbled leather and striking pale gold hardware.

I love this bag because it’s classic meets attitude. It’s the freak at the buffet. It’s the had-to-look-twice.

Is the Alexander Wang Rockie Bag Heavy?

It’s not too heavy, but it isn’t the lightest bag either due to the studs on the bottom. I’d advise visiting a store and trying out the Rockie to get an idea for it’s look, feel and weight if you’re unsure.

Is the Alexander Wang Rockie Bag for me?

The Rockie bag derived from its bigger brother, Rocco. Depending on what you want to carry around I find the Rockie perfect for everyday use. It comfortably fits in your mobile, purse, miniature perfume and iPad mini, however if you want to carry your laptop or larger iPad around unfortunately the Rockie will be slightly too small.

The amazing thing about this bag is how it goes from day to night and completes any outfit, from wearing it on the crutch of your arm with skinny jeans and heels to using the more casual shoulder strap with a day-dress and converse.

This bag comes in so many different colour ways and types of leather, that you’re bound to find your perfect Alexander Wang Rockie. This bag will set you back around £500-£600 brand new, but in more neutral colours I think it’s a great investment piece. My bag is currently just over a year old and as you can see from my photos, it still looks nearly new.
