Every now and then you stumble across something you just HAVE to try, right? Maybe it’s jumping out a plane, or experimenting with Mua’s new fur-effect nails – what ever it may be, it’s just got to be done.
Well, one thing’s fur sure (had to be done), I LOVE my new pink furry nails! After reading mixed reviews on the product (which is just £3 per pot, and £1 per nail varnish in Superdrug) I honestly don’t know what all the bad hype is about. I found the process simple and really easy, I just used a towel for damage control after reading it’s really messy – it’s not that bad.
Here’s how:
- Get the fur-effect pot and first things first, get a pair of small scissors and push the plastic tray out (the holes aren’t big enough), and pour some of the pink fairy dust into the lid of the pot, don’t be stingy, what you don’t use you can put back.

- Paint your nails as usual (just try one nail if you aren’t sure if you want to do them all), then gently roll your nail in the fur. Simple. It might look clumpy at first, but I promise once it’s dry it’ll look fine.

- Repeat until your heart’s content – feel free to add some fuzzy love to your toe nails if that’s that your heart desires. Although, I think this would be slightly tricky (don’t forget to record this and put it on you tube if you try it).
- Let the nails dry for a few minutes, then take a chunky unused make-up brush, and simply brush off the excess. Wala – now your nails are all wrapped up in fur ready for the cold.
The furry pots of nail love come in 5 different shades. I opted for the bright pink, but there is also baby pink (very tempting), a deep purple, blue and dark-ish red. I think it’s simply a matter of time before I own them all. Thank you fur reading (yes, again!). You can purchase the little fur pots here.
