You can’t beat a day at the spa, lounging around at a leisurely pace forgetting about day-to-day problems. The perfect remedy, whilst going to the spa every week isn’t an option, a DIY job is not to be snuffed at.
1. Run a lovely hot bath and add 5 caps of Elemis deep muscle relax (£32.50) perfect for aches and pains, or Elemis bath milk (£39.90) for a more relaxing scent. It’s also the perfect time to find a fluffy towel and hang on the radiator to ensure it’s nice and toasty for when you get out the bath.

2. Set the scene with spa music. I use Spoitfy on my iPad for this (Spotify lets you steam any music at all for just £5 a month or £10 on mobile devices). Simply search ‘spa music’ and you’ll find a wealth of music to drift away too. If not, you tube also have spa tracks you can play through you’re phone.
3. A thermal warming face mask combined with cooling cucumber eye covers (£3.99) are perfect for re-vitalizing you’re skin and eyes. I use No.7 firming mask on a weekly basis to hydrate my skin and it lasts for ages.
4. After a lovely relax in the bath dry yourself off with you’re warm towel and slip on a chunky dressing gown.
5. Pamper yourself – Take some time out to do your nails, pluck your eyebrows, steam you’re face or use an at home foot bath.
6. Snuggle up in bed and have a nap or get stuck into a great book. Keep you’re spa music on low in the background…
