I’m a self confessed dress addict but recently shorts have been well and truly on my radar. After visiting London I spotted a woman wearing some bright yellow shorts with a grey top and jacket – I fell in love.

Consequently I went on a mission to find some bright neon yellow shorts, and found some! They looked really short so I had to buy a size bigger than usual to make sure they covered the trusty bum cheeks (pet hate) and all for a bargain £10 from Republic.

My next short fall occurred during a casual ‘browse’ in Topshop. You know the one where you expect to spend nothing (this never happens). They are longer and have a stunning graphic floral print. You can dress these shorts down with an over sized baggy grey t-shirt, or for a smarter look wear with a pussy bow blouse and tights. These came in at £35, but you can wear them with heals for a night out or flat shoes for the daytime so I figured well worth the investment.
