This post is long over due and running roughly two weeks late, but better late than never. I went on a trip to London the day just after my birthday to attend the Reiss AW12 press event and Danilo Gabrielli’s AW12 catwalk show. How glad am I that I didn’t miss this.

Danilo’s catwalk show was set in a luxurious town house building with huge chandeliers, fantastic wine, the sun shinning and fashion to kill for. I attended with my lovely work college Jo Payton from fashiondetective.com & stylecompare.co.uk and we had such a fantastic time sipping white wine spritzers.

The collection oozed sophistication with hints of glamour and wild card colours. My personal favourite, a grey pencil skirt with a mustard yellow shirt and not to mention the killer red lipstick – this is a look i know i will be stealing for AW12! The amazing fashion didn’t stop there, amongst the grown up silhouettes and classy cuts were hundreds of intricate ruffles on a floor length dress and a classic trench with a sparkling twist.

An Italian designer, Danilo is one to watch. Based in NYC his attention to detail is next to none and his sense of sophisticated fashion for the modern day woman unquestionable. For more inspiration on what to wear this AW you can view all of Danilo’s AW12 collection on his website.
