It’s that time again, your mascara is nearing the end of it’s life and it’s time to do the round trip to Boots or Superdrug to buy a new one. Only this time the one you have fallen in love with is sold out, so you start to contemplate wandering back into the smoky unknown realm of mascara.
I immediately noticed Rimmel London’s lash accelerator mascara, the package was understated yet bright with a green neon lid (total sucker for good packaging), and so I decided to take a gamble with my money and purchase a product I’d heard nothing about.
My verdict, I love it. It’s perfect for everyday use, not over the top and it doesn’t clump like some of these ‘huge volume’ mascaras. It’s beautiful but not over the top, light on the eyes and has a grow-lash complex.
I can’t say I’ve noticed my lashes grow too much, I don’t measure them down to the mm but they do look nice and a tiny bit longer when I take my make-up off. The downside, you definitely do need a different going-out mascara to create more impact, but this mascara is reasonably priced at £7.99 and perfect for work. It seems other Superdrug users agree, this was the last one on the shelves. The colour I chose is 002 brown/black as I wanted to go for a natural look.
