Hate the thought of having greasy hair? Ditto. I had tried multiple dry shampoos in the hope to keep my hair looking fresher for longer. I love wearing my hair down but the thought of it looking dull and lifeless is inevitable after a long day at the office.

My first dry shampoo experience was with Charles Worthington after a recommendation saying it smelt divine – it did, but it was a huge effort to stop my hair feeling chalky and looking grey (I’d like to save that until I’m 70+ please).

I then found Tresemme’s dry shampoo, not the cheapest option to say the least at nearly £5 a bottle, but Superdrug and Boots often have them on offer a few times a year – this is when my hunter gatherer instinct kicks in and wala, I restock my stash. Around 3 bottles last me 6 months max (Superdrug currently have them on offer, buy 3 for £8.99).

It smells lovely, a quick rub with your finger tips and it has completely vanished whilst adding some much needed volume to my fine hair. As you can see from the before and after pictures it really does make the hair look fuller and less greasy. After washing and drying my hair I give it a light spray with the dry shampoo to help keep it bouncier for longer, and on the 2nd day I spray more for all over coverage.

Overall a great investment and the best dry shampoo i have found so far – just remember to buy them when they are on offer to save a small fortune.
